A New Approach to Freshman Info Lit

I just added Meredith Farkas’s blog to my blogroll on the slider to the left. It’s full of good stuff that I need to catch up on. I hope she keeps her readers informed as to how this new model works out and any changes they make along the way as it unfolds. Inquiring minds want to know!

Farkas, Meredith. “The Devil You Know in First Year Instruction.” Information Wants to Be Free, August 10, 2012. http://meredith.wolfwater.com/wordpress/2012/08/10/the-devil-you-know-in-first-year-instruction/.

Farkas’s library has a new take on first-year instruction for the upcoming school year using peer mentors for information literacy instruction. I look forward to hearing more on how this approach works out.
